Man operating tail lift.

Service & Weight Testing Training

By law, employers have a general duty to ensure that the health and safety of their employees and members of the public is not put at risk as a result of the work that they do. Employees also have a duty to look after their own health and safety, and that of anyone who might be affected by their work.

The course is conducted within the LOLER course mostly practically , on the vehicles and equipment provided by the customer so engineers can be practically trained on equipment as they would come across in their normal working life.

This is a one to one (on rare occasions two to one) training course so it can be individualized to each person and is only taking one person out of the team per day, as this is a one to one session and we have been doing the training this way since the end of 2017 and has a proven track record that the trainee retains more information as the trainee learns better with a hands on approach.

Taking this approach ensures S&T Services(UK) Ltd provide a service which will be most beneficial to you and your employees, leaving them feeling completely comfortable with the equipment they will be working with.

It is the end users duty to maintain and repair tail-lifts under PUWER98 legislation have your engineers trained so they can service, maintain and weight test tail-lifts to the current CE tail-lift standards.
